About OENO HOW
Wine doesn’t have to be complicated, it just needs to be explained.
The Journey
OENO HOW was founded in 2021 by Stefanos Voidomatis, a wine professional driven by one simple idea: wine tastes better when it brings people together.
After completing an MSc in Viticulture in Thessaloniki, and working for several years in hospitality, Stefanos entered the wine trade in 2014.
His journey later led him to the Netherlands, where he worked in Greek wine import, and he opened a wine shop dedicated to native Greek grape varieties. These experiences shaped the clear, international, and approachable style that defines OENO HOW today.
Based in Athens since 2023, Stefanos hosts tastings just steps away from the Acropolis. He personally leads each experience, combining professional knowledge with calm guidance, storytelling, and a shared table.
Currently a WSET Diploma candidate, and a member of Union of Greek sommeliers, his focus remains simple: explain wine clearly and let enjoyment follow.
The Philosophy
Wine should be understood, not intimidating.
At OENO HOW, tastings are structured, yet in a relaxed, and educational way without being too technical.
History, geography, and mythology are used as an inspiration to enhance the experience.
The goal is always the same: to help guests feel confident, curious, and comfortable enjoying wine.
